🌿 How This Journey Works

Each lesson in this course follows the phases of the moon, just like many Native American communities have done for generations to guide daily life, seasons, and ceremonies. The moon helps mark time and reminds us that growth happens in cycles. In this course, your learning follows that same path. You begin with a pause (🌑), taking a moment to think and set your intention. As you learn (🌒) and apply (🌓) new ideas, your understanding starts to grow. In the deepen (🌔) phase, you think more deeply and make connections to your life, your culture, and your community. When you reach create (🌕), you share your ideas and show what you’ve learned. Finally, in reflect & continue the journey (🌖), you look back on your growth, recognize your strengths, and think about how you will carry what you’ve learned forward. Just like the moon continues its cycle, your journey of learning and identity is always growing and continuing.
