About CollegeBound Journey®
The Only College Planning Platform Designed for Native American Students

Our Mission
CollegeBound Journey® exists to close the opportunity gap for Native American students by equipping educators and Indian Education programs with the tools they need to guide students toward higher education in ways that reflect cultural identity, belonging, and self-determination.
We believe every Native student deserves access to college planning support that respects who they are—where they come from, where they’re going, and how they want to get there.
Our Core Values
- Cultural Integrity: We ensure that Native voices, traditions, and ways of knowing are embedded in every aspect of our platform.
- Partnership with Educators: We build tools with direct input from school counselors, Indian Education coordinators, and tribal education leaders.
- College as a Cultural Fit: We help students choose colleges not only for academics—but for Native support programs, language offerings, and Indigenous community presence.
- Accountability & Alignment: Our resources are ASCA-aligned, MTSS-informed, and built to meet the real needs of schools and districts.

"As a school counselor, I saw the challenges my Native American students faced when trying to find colleges that honored and supported their cultural identity. Time and again, I searched for a resource that could guide them to institutions where they would feel seen, valued, and empowered. When I realized such a platform didn’t exist, I decided to create it myself. CollegeBound Journey is the result of my dedication to ensuring every Native student has access to culturally responsive guidance and opportunities that celebrate who they are."
